数周后。这孩子再次回到这工作间，他大吃一惊：看到在大理石原先的位置上，蹲伏着一隻高大威猛的狮子。
那小孩兴高采烈地跑到雕匠前，对他说：「先生，请告诉我，你怎麽会晓得这大理石里面有一头狮子呢？」
